Why not host a Pin-up Party?

The past year has brought me a lot of experience, and even more fun. It seems that the more I learn, the more I want to do, and I've been lucky enough to keep very busy doing this thing that I love.

While I am still very interested in booking weddings, events, and portraits, I've decided to branch out into Portrait Parties. These can be tailored to any theme, but one theme, in particular has generated a lot of buzz here.

Pin-up Parties. Everyone gets a bit spoiled and has their hair and makeup done by my stylist. I set up at the client's location, and bring my studio lights, several backdrops, and my ever expanding steamer trunk full of props and even a few costumes (although the party people are encouraged to bring their own outfits). And if that's not enough, everyone gets at least one print, and can earn product credits for more. Of course, the hostess is free.

While the party goes on in the main part of the house, the photos take place in another. I'm especially drawn to the old time "cheesecake" pin-up art of Gil Elvgren, but am open to creating whatever look the client wants.
